Base Windows LTD. was established in 1993 as the first company to design and manufacture a structural load pour in place vinyl window.

Located in Concord and serving the Greater Toronto Area as well as surrounding regions,

Base Windows LTD. specializes in the manufacture and supply of structural load pour in place horizontal sliding vinyl basement windows.

COLOUR
Base Windows LTD. also offers a variety of colours to suit your project needs.
Thus far our colours are as follows; White (standard) and Sandalwood are both extruded.
We can also have material painted and offer the following colours: Almond, Black, Brown and Sable.

Egress Windows

THE ONTARIO BUILDING CODE: EGRESS WINDOWS SECTION 9.9.10.1
• Except where a door on the same floor level as the bedroom provides direct access to the exterior, every floor level containing a bedroom in a suiteshall be provided with at least one outside window that,

• Is openable from the inside without the use of tools

• Provides an individual, unobstructed open portion having a minimum area of 0.35m2 with no dimension less than 380mm, and

• Maintains the required opening described in clause (b) without the need for additional support

• When sliding windows are used, the minimum dimension described in sentence (1) shall apply to the openable portion of the window.
